St Mary's Patronal Festival

St Mary's Church and Infants' School

The Archdeacon of Gloucester, The Venerable Geoffrey Sidaway, preached to a full house when friends from St Nicolas’ and All Saints’ joined us to celebrate the Birthday of Mary. Many of us went on to the Infant School for a bring-and-share picnic lunch, despite the rain showers.

The ‘return match’, as Fr Stephen put it, will be on the Sunday nearest All Saints’ Day (3 November), when we shall go to All Saints’ church to celebrate their Patronal Festival.

After the Patronal Service we had a picnic lunch at the Infants' School.
