Fr Ian was Vicar of Prestbury from 1974 to 1994.

The Requiem Mass was led by Fr Ian's son, Fr William Hazlewood.  The preacher was Fr Nicholas Setterfield, the last of 13 curates to be trained by Fr Ian.   Several of them attended.
