Outreach Picnic

St Mary's Infant School

This well-attended, outreach initiative was designed to build on the success of the Palm Sunday procession, when a number of families with young children attended. Our aim was to maintain the momentum gathered by the Palm Sunday event until we are able to offer this particular 'audience' a new all-age service in the autumn.  The format was

a 'bring your own' picnic (tea, coffee, squash provided)
organised games
a short service

Families with children at the schools and congregation members were invited.
