St Nicolas' Church and Hall

On this day the children of the parishes of Prestbury and All Saints were invited to St Nicolas' Church to enjoy a day learning about the Old Testament story of Joseph; of how his brothers were jealous of him and sold him as a slave; of how his power of interpreting dreams found him favour with Pharaoh; and how he was reunited with his family when they came to Egypt seeking to buy food.

We all practised singing some songs of Joseph and his coat of many colours.

When it was their turn the children came to the Godly Play one by one and ...

Margaret told them the story of Joseph whilst the children sat silently
