Cheltenham Festival Parking
at St Nicolas' Church
14 - 17 March 2006

Gill, Jackie and Brian on car park duty
For several years now, Jackie has
opened up the car park at St Nicolas' church for the race goers to the Cheltenham
Festival which is a great favourite with the Irish.
On the first day of the festival Jackie spotted someone in a hat resembling three
pints of a very famous Irish stout and remarked she would like one (hat that is).
And to be sure the next day her wish came true! We have one happy Jackie.
St Nicolas' church is about 5 or 10 minutes walk from the Race Course entrance.
The car park is supervised from 09:30 to about 6pm. Cars are parked at the
owners' risk.
As you arrive in the morning we can provide light refreshments and toilet
facilities.
Those who book in advance are offered a place to park on the hard standing (room
for 40+ cars). Others may park on our field (room for 50+ cars). We
ensure sufficient space for everyone to get out when they please.
