IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN
WHEREAS the Priest-in-Charge and Churchwardens of the Parish of
Prestbury St.Mary have represented, to Us that the building within the said
Parish known as St.Nicolas, Prestbury is adequately furnished in all
respects for use as a Church
AND WHEREAS the said Priest-in-Charge and Churchwardens have
requested Us to consecrate the said building
NOW THEREFORE We MICHAEL FRANCIS by Divine Permission BISHOP OF
GLOUCESTER DO HEREBY SET APART the said building so furnished from all
profane and common uses AND DO DEDICATE the said building AND CONSECRATE the
same by the name of THE CHURCH OF SAINT NICOLAS, PRESTBURY for the service
of Almighty God and for the performance of Divine Offices according to the
liturgy and uses of the Church of England as by law established AND by this
Our Definitive Sentence and Final Decree which We cause to be read and
promulged by these presents WE DO PUBLICLY PRONOUNCE that the said building
ought to remain so set apart dedicated and consecrated for ever
