WINE TASTING

This was St Mary’s first event at the newly refurbished Prestbury Hall - a pre-Christmas wine tasting at 7.30pm led by Avery’s of Bristol fine wines manager, Matthew Hemming.  He presented some of his Christmas Selection of 3 white wines and a mystery white wine for which we had to guess the type.  Most people correctly identified the type of wine.  After a break to enjoy a hot ‘finger buffet’ from our catering team and an opportunity to discuss wine, Matthew presented 3 red wines and another mystery wine to identify. To round off the evening there was coffee and chocolates. The proceeds were in aid of St Mary’s Repair Fund.
